The Crossing the Chasm Assessment Tool is a quick and easy way for you to determine your business’ “technology adoption style” as described in Geoffrey Moore’s best – selling book “Crossing the Chasm”. Moore segments the technology adoption curve into three specific “styles” he describes as “Visionary”, “Pragmatist", and “Conservative”. Each style, while valid, requires a different strategy for success. Knowing your particular style will help you more effectively identify and implement a technology adoption strategy.
The app consists of a series of statements to which you will be asked to indicate where on a continuum from “We are very much like this” to “We are not at all like this” your business falls. After calculating your score the app will show you what style best fits your business and provide a short description of a suggested strategy.
